Safe space

Everyone needs a place where they can feel that it’s safe to be whatever they are, without fear of judgment or rejection. I don’t think it always has to be a physical location—although sometimes it is.

I think that safe space can also be a person. Someone who accepts you as you are and loves you unconditionally; someone who allows you to be whoever you need to be at that moment. Someone who can allow you to feel the way you need to feel and say the things you need to say, without the fear of being judged or rejected.

That’s what I want to be for you. Your safe space. Your person you can count on to accept you as you were, are, and will be—without fear or conditions. Your person who will listen anytime, day or night, whenever you need me to. I am your “space” where you are free to say anything—or to not say anything at all.

Tell me what you think.
